In the role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy there are all sorts of places, objects and people to discover that you may already know from the books and films. But the famous Elder Wand, known as the best magic wand ever and one of the three Deathly Hallows, is not included. Well, yes, at least not in his legendary form, as Dumbledore once possessed him.
In theory, you can get a powerful wand from Mr. Ollivander in Hogsmeade that looks exactly like the famous wand from the Harry Potter universe. In this guide you will find out what you have to do to get this staff and what options you have to adapt it to your own wishes.
Hogwarts Legacy: Best wand in the game, this is how you get the Elder Wand
Aspiring witches and wizards can customize many things in Hogwarts Legacy to suit their personal preferences; the Room of Requirements and their own clothing are just two of many examples. The magic wand is no exception and those who pick one up from Mr. Ollivander have many different options to choose from.
Visually, however, none of the available options come close to the look of the real Elder Wand, which can be a bit frustrating. But don’t worry, at least from the name and visually you can definitely get the powerful tool, you just have to take part in the official wand test at Wizarding World and give the correct answers.
Answer a total of seven questions correctly, then link your Wizarding World account to your Warner Bros. account to receive the staff as the story progresses. However, this is only possible if you have not yet received your own magic wand in the game, after all, you will receive the Elder Wand from Mr. Ollivander as part of the main quest.
When the best wand in the game finally ends up in your hands, you only have to deal with two deviations. On the one hand, your version of the Elder Wand is of course not as powerful as the original, on the other hand, your version will have a unicorn core, phoenix core or dragon core, and not the tail hair of a thestral like the original.
