There is a very special puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy that invites us to reflect. It’s about the werewolf room and the riddle associated with it.
But where can I find the tapestry I’m looking for? And what do I have to do to master the puzzle? In this solution you will find all the information you need to play through quickly.
Hogwarts Legacy: Where can I find the werewolf room?
Where is the werewolf room? First of all, you need to look for a tapestry in Hogwarts Castle. You will find it by the staircase with the two suits of armor and the horse armor in the middle.
It is best to start in The Wing of the Bell Tower at the Flea Flame “Courtyard of the Bell Tower” and then head east, directly into the cellar. Here you will see the armor.
You can already see the secret door here. Nearby are stairs a little further on that lead to the armor. Directly in front of you, you will see a tapestry with a secret door.
The door at the top of the stairs is easy to open. Simply walk towards the tapestry and open it in the middle at the K symbol. Easy.
The secret room: Fate of the werewolf
Once you have passed the secret door, you will see a long corridor with several statues inside. At the end of the corridor you will find a door. Behind it is a large room with many magical tapestries.
This is the actual secret room. And this room hides a little secret that you can uncover.
If you use a Revelio spell, you can see which tapestries these are. Basically, the whole room is full of carpets. However, first collect the chest in the corner and when you cast Revelio in the far left corner, the manual page: Tapestries of the Werewolf Saga will reveal itself.
How can I solve the puzzle?
These tapestries tell the tragic story of a witch who was bitten by a werewolf. But the tapestries we see here in this room show something else! So what to do?
Now select the Lumos spell and the truth behind the werewolf saga will be revealed.
Because the tapestries only show half the truth at first. If you get very close to a tapestry and then conjure up Lumos, every single picture changes into the true picture.
Now transform all the tapestries, from right to left, to see the whole story of the werewolf saga.
Is there a reward?
Bear in mind that there is no reward as such in this puzzle. The reward is the Revelio manual page, which you can collect directly. But you will be rewarded with the true story, which you can see here in the pictures. And that is also a form of reward?
