The action RPG Hogwarts Legacy comes with an all-encompassing character creator that leaves nothing to be desired. We can adjust the appearance, as well as the gender. And hey, even the voice is selectable!
We decide completely freely whether the character should have a more male or female voice nuance and what depth or height the voice should have. And as if that wasn’t impressive enough, the developers have even included the option to create transgender characters.
The appearance can therefore be fully and very flexibly adjusted in “Hogwarts Legacy”. But one question remains unanswered! Can we change the appearance once the character is created? How does this work according to the character creator?
Hogwarts Legacy: Change your Appearance with new Clothes
Of course, the appearance can actually be changed quite simply by simply putting on different clothes. Depending on what clothing we choose, the appearance will be adjusted accordingly.
Each item of clothing, the so-called appearances in the game, can be put on manually and boasts an individual look.
Worth knowing: And the following feature is particularly great! When we unlock a new item of clothing, we don’t have to adopt the look of the clothing. We can decide to change the appearance at the touch of a button in the equipment menu.
For example, we can put on very strong armor and then simply keep the initial look (for example of the respective house). This applies to all outfits that you have unlocked so far.
Change appearance by a hairdresser
But that’s not enough for us at this point. Of course, just changing your clothes is boring. What if we want a new haircut? Can the appearance, such as hairstyles, be adjusted later?
Yes, that’s definitely possible! There is an in-game option that allows you to change your appearance while the game is running. So you don’t need to create a new character just because you want to look different.
Where can I change my appearance? This is possible in Hogsmeade. More specifically, in Madam Snelling’s Lockenporium shop (see map). Enter the shop and then talk to Calliope Snelling.
What can I change about my appearance? We can’t change everything about ourselves in this salon. But one thing or another. For example, you can no longer adjust the voice. Only the following works:
- A new hairstyle – In the hairstyles section we can adapt the hairstyle to suit ourselves and, on top of that, treat ourselves to a new hair color!
- Face Color – In the Face Color section we can change freckles and birthmarks as well as the general face color. There is also the second subsection Scars and Marks with all the options.
- Eyebrows – And then there is the eyebrow section, where you can adjust your eyebrow shape, eyebrow color and even eye color.
Once we have made the desired changes, we must confirm the input so that our appearance changes. Then you have to pay a small fee. However, that’s only 20 gold, don’t worry. So the price is definitely within reason.
