The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild konnte bei den DICE-Awards gleich vier Auszeichnungen abstauben. Dazu gehört auch die Trophäe für das Spiel des Jahres.
Es gilt für viele als das Spiel des Jahres 2017, diesem Tenor stimmen nun auch die DICE-Awards zu: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wurde mit gleich vier Trophäen ausgezeichnet.
Nintendos Action-Adventure räumte in den Kategorien „Game of the Year“, „Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction“, „Outstanding Achievement in Game Design“ sowie „Best Adventure“ ab.

Elf Auszeichnungen für Nintendo
Auch sonst lief es für Nintendo ziemlich gut: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ist das beste Rennspiel, Metroid: Samus Returns das beste Handheld-Spiel, Fire Emblem Heroes das beste Mobile-Spiel, Snipperclips gewann den Sprite-Award und ist das beste Familien-Spiel und Super Mario Odyssey hat das beste Sound-Design.
Genyo Takeda, der maßgeblich am Konzept des Nintendo 64 und der Wii beteiligt war, bekam zudem einen Preis für sein Lebenswerk. Die Liste mit allen Gewinnern findet ihr weiter unten.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild: Krog-Samen sind einfach Scheiße
Wer bei den DICE-Awards an den Battlefield-Entwickler denkt, liegt natürlich falsch: Es handelt sich um eine Preisverleihung der „Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences“, die damit herausragende Spiele prämieren möchte. Das „DICE“ steht übrigens für „Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain“.
